Friends of the Winchester Library 2012 Programs
Wednesday, January 11 (snow date: Wednesday, January 18), 2012 @ 7:00 pm: “The Joy of Getting Things Done” by Linda L. King of Reading. A presentation for people who want to make their New Years Resolutions a reality.
Tuesday, February 28 (snow date: Wednesday, February 29), 2012 @ 7:00 pm: “Voices from the Basement”, a documentary film by Massachusetts native, Michael Bavaro, about Boston’s beloved 100-year-old icon – the original Filene’s Basement.
Tuesday, March 6 (snow date: Wednesday, March 7), 2012 @ 7:00 pm: “The Boy Who Would Be Shakespeare: A Tale of Forgery and Folly”, an illustrated talk by Ipswich author Doug Stewart about his non-fiction account of a teenaged apprentice in London who forges a Shakespearean lost masterpiece. The author will also discuss how he did his research.

MUSEUM PASSES
The Friends of the Winchester Public Library, with the generous support of the Rotary Club and the Enka Society, provide passes to the most popular area museums. You can view a list of the museums and to reserve a pass online.
CHILDREN'S AND TEENS' PROGRAMS AND SUPPLIES

The Friends of the Winchester Public Library provides funding for numerous programs and activities throughout the year, including the popular Summer Reading Program. Learn about current teen events and children's programs.
We also provide funding for the purchase of program supplies and the replacement of toys for the Childrens Room.
The Princess and the Frog, a quilt created by Jeanne Fiorentini, commissioned by the Friends of the Library.
ADULT LECTURE SERIES
Through the generous support of the John and Mary Educational Foundation, the Friends of the Winchester Public Library continue to offer a number of interesting lectures which are free and open to the public. Current program and event information.
