Ahoy there mateys! Just like last year, we’re kicking off this year’s Summer Reading program with a rollicking car caravan through town!
On Monday, June 21, be on the lookout as an undersea caravan makes waves through the neighborhood surrounding the library! Library staff will leave the library at 12:00 noon in cars decorated with tails and tales to drive through town playing music and honking – basically a beach party on wheels! Look outside your window or – practicing safe social distancing – meet us somewhere along the way to wave back.
Make sure you follow it up by registering for our all-online Summer Reading program where we’ve got lots of fun challenges with both reading and hands-on activities. And make sure you check out our online events calendar to sign up for some of the awesome programs – both in-person and virtual – that are going on all summer long!
So let’s pull up the anchor and set sail on June 21st!
