Mental Health Resources

| |

Mental health issues affect the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of many people. The nonfiction books listed here cover the stigma of mental illness, and present new studies, therapies, and treatments for such illnesses as PTSD and postpartum depression. Included are memoirs and essays that can help people understand mental health and that show how healing can occur through human connection. There are several books on the parenting of children with mental health challenges that explain how to find help for your loved ones. All of these resources are available in the Winchester Public Library’s collection.
