Noon Year’s Eve Celebration!

| | , ,

It’s (definitely) time to bid farewell to 2020! Let’s stay home and celebrate the start of a brand new year with a Noon Year’s Eve Party for kids and their families (because everyone wants to be well rested for our 2021 fresh start, amiright?)!

First, let’s countdown to noon with some cute (easy to make) Goodie Bags!

Decide what you want to stuff your goodie bags with, it could be a glow stick, stickers, a balloon to blow up, or something completely different like a good deed to do for someone else or something you think is special about them 🙂 and pick your bags, use plain old paper bags, or something a little fancier (it’s totally up to you).

Now let’s make a little noise to celebrate the start of 2021 with a Paper Plate Noise-Maker

Tape curled ribbon your plate plate so that when folded in half, the ribbon will stick out. Add a handful of beans, beads, or dried cereal to the plate and fold in half. Secure the plate closed with glue or a stapler. A hot glue gun can be used for this step but should be handled by a grown up.

Also, below you’ll find some more fun and festive ideas to celebrate the new year with your family, try one or try them all!
